Books and Summer Jobs

I finished reading A Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing. I had to force myself to finish reading the book. It got a little better towards the end but I still wouldn't recommend it. I am just about finished with David Sedaris's Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim. It's pretty good but not as good as Naked.

I found out that I will be teaching ESY (Extended School Year) through the county's Special Education department. I will only have two students, one is a former student of mine. Each kid will get one hour three times a week of reading instruction in their own home. Both of the kids are boys, 4th and 5th graders. ESY pays pretty well and it will be nice to have some exrta money to fund my scrapbooking addiction.

Speaking of scrapbooking, I applied for a part-time job at one of my favorite scrapbook stores, Archiver's. Keep your fingers crossed!
