This morning I went to a card making class at Memories. The technique that was taught is called "iris folding". Just in case you were wondering: iris folding originated in Holland. It's a paper folding technique using colored papers. The folded strips of paper are layered in a spiral pattern. It's called iris folding because it resembles the iris of an eye or camera.
Take a look at the three cards I made during the class. The fish card with the waves opens up at the starfish.
