No work for me this Monday or Tuesday!

This was the message that my principal read to the faculty Friday afternoon: "Governor Perdue has asked all Georgia school systems to close Monday, September 26, and Tuesday, September 27, in effect taking two "snow" days. As a result, all afterschool activities will be cancelled on these days, as well. Only 12-month GCPS employees should report."

There has been a huge controversy (read it here) about the Governor's decision. I have decided to just enjoy my two unexpected days off instead of bitching about it. There is nothing we can change and in the big picture of "life" (as cliche as that sounds) it really doesn't matter. So here's to 2 days of SCRAPPING!
