Comments

I just don't get it. I have lots of friends who I know read my blog but never or rarely leave a comment. Most of my comments come from other people with blogs. Does anyone else notice this trend on their blogs?

Yeah, none of my friends comment on my blog even though I know they read it because they bring it up whenever I see them. The only people that post, with a few exceptions, are people with other blogs... I guess that the same type of person that blogs is the same type of person that comments... far fewer comment-only people out there. Of course, you could say that your friend don't comment becaue they know they'll see you and talk to you about it then... random people don't have that option so all they can do is comment... never really thought about it before so that's just the first thoughts that popped in my head...

Of course this is the case. They just don't understand the joy that we get when we see that comment counter move up one position. It just lets you know someone out there actually cares to read and respond to what you just put out there for everyone to read.

Yep. Honestly, non-bloggers just don't understand the whole commenting/ linking dynamic. Way too complicated.

yep, that is pretty much the trend; and by looking at who has commented so far, I can safely say that the trend continues...

I KNOW! That's why I put a tester on mine too to see if anyone would comment and you of course were the only one. They are just too good for us...HAHA. Or just don't know how to comment. A very simple concept. I wish they would on mine too. So annoying.
