New Year's Goals

A review of my New Year's from 2005. (I don't do resolutions because I can never keep them. However, I usually achieve my goals.)

Goal #1 - finish paying off all debit (school, car) in 2 years or less (This is going well. I might not have as much saved for a down payment for a house but I am happy with the progress of this goal.)
Goal #2 - lose weight gained while teaching and in grad school (This goal was going great. By April 2005 I had lost 25 pounds! After my brother passed away in July I got out of the habit of exercising and gained back the weight. It makes me so mad that I have to start all over again.)
Goal #3 - finish scrapbooking all of my pictures (Not even close but I am having fun making progress)
Goal #4 - begin looking for new house after goal #1 is reached (N/A)
Goal #5 - spend more time with friends (Since I have finished grad school I was spending more time with my friends. It's still not as much as I would like. It's just hard to balance work, dating, and seeing my friends. I have lots of friends but they are not friends with each other. So it's not like I can have a get together on the weekend and see everyone at the same time.)
Goal #6 - read more books (In 2005 I really did not read any books, maybe 3 at the most. I spent more time reading scrapbook and women's magazines.)
