Writing Prompt: Who is your Valentine and why?

Here's what my 5th graders had to say...

Sarah wrote: It would be Tim. because he is cute. I like him because he is a hunk. I will give him a Valintine that is Harry Potter. I will make a card with the Valintine in it.

John wrote: My Valintine is Tara because She is pretty and intellingein. Also we been out for two years. Even though we had a rough time we still made it trough. THe main things I like her is because She funny and needs a men like me. We both like each other since 4th grade.

Tara wrote: Who would be my Valentine is John is because he is a very cute and I like him. He is a good person and I just think that me and him belong togother and it was meant to be. John is sweet, funny, he makes me laugh. I think that this would be a good Valentines Day for me.
