Family Update

Good news - my sister may not have to have surgery after all. The MRI showed a sever contusion to her femur bone. She has 6 weeks of physical therapy and then the doctor will do another MRI. If her bone density doesn't improve they will decide if they want to do surgery or not. The doctor said that if her leg doesn't heal well, then there is a good chance she could easily break her femur bone playing sports. In order to make her femur stronger they would place a rod in her leg. I'll know more in 6 weeks.

My step-mom had a mild heart attack this past Monday night. She was released from the hospital early Wednesday evening. This isn't the first time this has happened. This heart stuff runs on her side of the family. It scares the shit out of me every time she has to go to the hospital. My step-mom had a really old Scottish lady for a roommate. She kept taking her dentures out to play with them. Nice...
